Energize NY Celebrates Another Year of Milestones at Annual Meeting

May 2nd 2017

Twenty-four municipalities (approximately 75% of members) attended the 2017 Annual Meeting of Members in March and elected a new director to the Board of Energy Improvement Corporation, which operates Energize NY.  Linda Puglisi, Supervisor of the Town of Cortlandt, was unanimously elected to a three-year term, and current Board members, Joseph Mareane, County Administrator of Tompkins County, and Charles B. Strome III, City Manager of the City of New Rochelle, were unanimously re-elected for three-year terms.

Municipal members joined EIC staff, a representative from Empire State Development, Sustainable Westchester, a NYSERDA Clean Energy Communities Coordinator, and other community leaders at the Annual Meeting to review Energize NY’s 2016 accomplishments and future goals.
